Twice Upon A Time

I know its been a long time since I posted a review.  So I'll post some in the near future.
But for now... Here we go

Today I am introducing a very interesting and exciting book which you were already able to see on the blog.

But here we go with a more complete way to introduce you to the book.

Title:  Twice Upon A Time
Original Title: Twice Upon A Time
Author: Hope Irving
Publisher: Amazon Digital Services
Genre: YA, Paranormal, Romance
Release Date: Oct. 31st, 2015

Once upon a time, there was the wandering soul of Morgann, an 8th century Irish calligrapher-monk longing to be reunited with his soul mate. Deirdre was his forbidden love, a witch with whom he wrote a coveted book.

Under her spell, the souls of the star-crossed lovers travel from bodies to bodies until they find each other. Eventually.
That became his quest: unearth her new body and trigger her memory, for she is clueless about whom she once was. Unfortunately their story didn't get a chance to become a fairy tale yet it still turned out as a famous urban legend referred as The Black Angel Book.

Twice upon a time, not so long ago, there was me, rational and devastated Rose. I needed to get a grip, said my French mum after my year of numbness due to a painful break-up that led me to cut my wrist daily, to feel something, anything.

So she sent me off to the free-spirited village of Provincetown, Massachusetts, to spend the summer with my American relatives. And just like that, I wasn’t myself any longer. Because someone pulled me out of the darkness and bewitched me, somehow.

I couldn’t wait to jump his bones… but why was he holding back?
He couldn’t wait to welcome me into his world… but was I ready to question my convictions and acknowledge that my self-inflicted cuts were now healing in record time?

How could I have imagined he was longing for his own unorthodox fairytale to come true? Frantically

Just a quick notice.

Hello Storytellers.

If you are still around and you still read everything I write... I want to say a big THANK YOU.

One busy year after another.
I knew it was going to be this way but I couldn't stop myself from opening this blog. A blog to talk about one of my passions, the books.

I am starting a new journey which will take me a little longer to update or write any post.

However I am not giving up.
Every once in a while I will have some time which I will use to upload the post. Which I will be writing on word or a notepad or a notebook if I must.

So thank you for your patience this last year and please, once again, be patient with me.

To all the authors and publishers:
Thank you for your consideration of my blog. Thank you for the patience on me reading your books, (which actually takes me a LONG time to finish) and for the patience on publishing  your Review (mostly) and all the wait on me answering the emails.

I am not going to be able to attend any Tour request but I'm so thankful for the ones that have asked me to participate.

Mystery and Thrillers are books I enjoy reading but take me a while to do so... Thats why I won't be reading as much of this genres, except for the ones I've already accepted or the ones I've requested.

I will continue on reading the books I previously got and publish the reviews.
So Thank you again for the patience.

And once again to everyone reading the blog...

Hope to see you around, don't forget to leave comments or hit me up on the email, I will answer as soon as possible.

New Year!

First of all. Happy New Year.
I would like to thank every single person that took a glance to the blog on 2015 and to everyone who is looking at the blog right now.

2015 was a year full of challenges and movements for me.
But in every moment there was a loyal friend beside me, a book.

So I expect this new year brings a ton more of emotions, worlds, creatures, uncomfy scenes, romance... Words. Stories to be read and later on, to be told.

I have to say honestly, In 2015 read less than I expected but more than I thought I would do.
And even when I said I was not going to set a reading challenge for this year, I have been tagged.

Since I have no idea on how much work I'll have this 2016, I'll set exactly the same amount of books than last year (Which please kill me I wasn't able to finish)

And the challenge for the year, from a special person I met this year...

1. A book published this year.
2. A book you can finish in a day.
3. A book you've been meaning to read.
4. A book recommended by your local librarian or bookseller.
5. A book you should have read in school.
6. A book chosen by your boyfriend, sibling, child, bff.
7. A book published before you were born.
8. A book that was banned at some point.
9. A book you previously abandoned.
10. A book you own but have never read.
11. A book that intimidates you.
12. A book you're already read at least once.

For this challenge I will be updating and crossing over when I finish each of the items.

And soon I will be uploading all the books I've got and still are on my TBR.

For now this was all I was meaning to say.

Happy New Year.
I wish to all of you, a year full of success and progress. Happiness and Books (Which is the same but this is me wishing you even more happiness!)

Thank you again for reading the blog.
Don't forget to comment if you would like to do the challenge and tag me to it, I would love to read about it if you are going to do it.
